Why Take a Boxing Class?

Are all workouts created equal?

There are so many ways to exercise these days it’s hard to make a decision on what modality is best for you.

I’m here on behalf of Boxing & ‘Exercising to Music’ to make a case.

Boxing is awesome for 2 reasons: 

  1. Physical - Boxing is an incredible total-body workout. In our classes, every muscle is trained during 12 rounds while you move your body and then strike the bag. This makes it an incredible calorie burner and a very efficient cardio workout. At REBL, we went further by adding a strength portion to the workout to accompany your boxing which creates a balanced total-body training session. 

  2. Psychological - Boxing is so cathartic, the rhythmic percussion of hitting the bag is great for the soul and it’s hard not to walk away from a boxing class not feeling a little bit more badass than when you arrived.
